Charity & Craig's motorcycle accident medical expenses

Hi, I'm Randy Helmle, Uncle of Charity Hogan and her husband Craig (Hammer) Sutherland.

Initially the fund was set at a goal of $75,000, before we knew the extent of their injuries. I have since adjusted it to $150,000 and just wanted to be transparent with the change to our goal.

On Tuesday Sept 10, 2024 while out of the country on vacation in Catskill New York an apparent drunk driver ran a stop sign and ran into Charity and Craig while travelling on Craig's Harley.

The driver is facing countless charges.

Craig was airlifted and Charity was transported via ambulance to Albany Medical center.

The injuries to Craig are quite extensive with loss of his leg and damage to internal organs. Craig has been in and out of surgery multiple times with many more to come.

We all know Craig is a fighter and nobody has given up hope.

Charity suffered a loss of leg, broken pelvis and many cuts and bruises. Charity is aware of the situation and is remaining positive for both. Just as tough as Hammer

They have insurance but everyone knows that can only go so far, not to mention what they will need for recovery going forward.

Barry and Marilyn (Charity's parents) are by their sides so we all know they are being looked after.

All donations go to Craig and Charity to assist them in their

long road to recovery and changed lives.
