Godsy always had a 'sure thing' - whether it was number 7 in the 3rd at Randwick or a runner at Kembla Grange, he always wanted to share his tips. Sadly, they were usually wrong! But that's why we loved Godsy - he never gave up - and now we have to pay him back.

Hi All, my name is Nicole Chick (Grant's wife), and on behalf of Godsy's close mates, I have set up this GoFund Me page to fund a funeral service for Godsy, who passed away on Wednesday 26th October, from a heart attack.

As many are aware, Godsy lived week to week, which doesn't allow for the funds required to give him the send-off he deserves. As a result, we kindly ask all who knew and loved Godsy to help contribute to a funeral service for him where we can all come together and celebrate our 'mate'.

Details of the service are still to be arranged as it all depends on the funds we can raise. Once we complete step 1 (raising funds), we will arrange the service details and advise everybody of the location and date. We hope you can all join us in farewelling Godsy in the way he deserves.
