Craig J Svestka Funeral And Medical Expense
Donation protected
Two nights ago the Svestka family suffered a devastating loss; our dear father, the head of the house hold, father to eight children, Craig Svestka lost his battle with lung cancer. He was diagnosed with a synovial sarcoma of the lung nearly 3 years ago. Only 1% of all lung cancers patients develop this horribly destructive disease. There is no cure. You may be thinking my father developed this disease because he was a smoker, UNTRUE. He developed this growth on the outside of his right lung and carotid artery from the years of inhalation of toxic gases and dioxins, working in factories his whole life to support his family. Upon being diagnosed the doctors were stunned he was even alive, up and walking, and working 60 hours a week for the family while enduring coughing blood for months. He endured 10-12 grueling rounds of chemotherapy and a lung surgery that only spread the cancer to his spine. The chemotherapy eventually weakened his bones to the point where his spine had fractured. He endured hell for over 3 years, fighting only to stay alive with his family and his most prized possession in the world, his eight children. We’re asking everyone out there that sees us, if you could find some sort of extra change lying around to help out the family with the last medical and funeral expenses we would be truly grateful.
