Craig Lodge Mission Year

Hi! My name is Maria. In September 2023, I moved to the beautiful highlands of Scotland to become a full time missionary at Craig Lodge Family House of Prayer. I joined Craig Lodge community with 7 other young people from all around the globe. We have committed nine months to service, study and mission work. We live together in community and are united in our desire to know, love and serve the Lord more and more each day.

Since September, I have seen the Lord work miraculously in my own life and in others. Through our daily rhythm of prayer and Eucharistic Adoration, I have received a love for spending time with the Lord. This has overflowed and brought a new life to all aspects of my life. I know that God has used and will continue to use this year as an instrument to bring me closer to Him.

As part of the mission team I have been privileged to minister, along with my fellow missionaries, to retreatants here at Craig Lodge and to those whom we have encountered on our mission trips in Aberdeen, Glasgow and Wakefield, England! I have witnessed Jesus bring healing, peace and love to the lives of so many. This has been a profound experience for me. Witnessing the goodness of God never ceases to amaze us!
