The Craig Ferris Memorial Bench

I have been lucky enough to be born in a house right down the street from where the Ferris' would soon move in. I met Megan, Craig, Kelly, Mark and Grandma Joy right here at Pleasent  Acres beach on Candlewood Lake. This is where I also met Maria. This is where we learned to swim. This is where we learned to tube on the water. This is where we learned to build great sandcastles. This is where we learned to drive the boat and jetskis. This is where we had our Easter egg hunts. This is where we retreated to every day together. This beach is where we grew up. 

My goal is to collect $5,000 dollars from our community and loved ones support. The money will go towards an engraved stone bench, permenantly mounted at the beach, just as our memories will permenantly remember Craig every day. This bench will be a great way to comemorate how deeply loved, funny, crazy, and ridiculously smart Craig was. It will show how much he meant and continues to mean to our entire community. 

Help us reach this goal, the Ferris' deserve this support and more. They reach everyones lives, and now it is time to give back. Please come together to help these great people in a time of need, as they have been there for all of us before. 

This is an idea of what the bench may look like, we intend to put it infront of the big tree on the beach.
