Cranborne Pond Restoration 2024

The Cranborne Primary School community are excited to restore the pond area on the school grounds. We have worked over the last year to renovate the Pond and nature area. We now have a fire pit where our pupils have been able to learn fire lighting skills, a mud kitchen, wild flower meadow and the beginnings of a sensory garden. We still have lots to do to create a wonderful outdoor learning environment.

We completed the first phase of replacing the fencing and there is a lovely new gated entrance.

Our local community have rallied around to donate plants, soil, wood, tyres and their time to this project.

Your donations will help to created raised vegetable patches, replace the rest of the fencing and dredge the pond to ensure there is enough space for the wildlife to come and visit.

Any donation big or small would be hugely appreciate.
