CrankCycle's Ride for Danielle Santiago

Danielle is 36 years old and fighting Metastatic Breast Cancer to her liver and bone. In 2016, as she was doing her regular self-breast exam, she found a lump. She was diagnosed with stage 2A breast cancer. She underwent a bilateral mastectomy with breast reconstruction. She started treatment post mastectomy and she was in remission!

In 2018, after being in remission for about 2 years she got the dreaded news, a scan showed metastasis to her liver and bone. Her and her medical team have been fighting hard to put her cancer back into remission. At her 3mth scan visits they keep finding out the cancer progressed a little more. She has been on chemotherapy for almost a year and a half straight. Despite everything she has going on she keeps a smile on her face and fights with everything she has!
