The Crazy Lobo Lady Needs our help LOBO NATION
Donazione protetta
Hey everyone I want to tell you about my friend Susan Berg aka “The Crazy Lobo Lady”. She has been an avid Lobo fan her entire life. She likes to say she works just to travel with the Lobo Men’s Basketball team! Susan had a 17 pound Kidney Tumor removed 4 years ago and now she is battling Stage 4 cancer that has spread to her pancreas and lung. I have known Susan for the past 10 years. She is the most giving person I know. She is always willing to throw a tailgate, cook Frito Pie, Green Chile Chicken Soup and of course her famous Lobo Brownies (and jello shots!) they are a requirement for every tailgate. She is a part of the Lobo Howl thrown on behalf of the Lobo Lair and acts as a welcoming crew to the new recruits. She makes a special effort to meet the players and always invites the team to her football tailgates. She is the first person to ask, “How can I help?” Well now it’s our turn. She has been working since she was diagnosed in September, full time. But now the therapy she is on has actually started attacking her good organs, specifically her liver and she has had to stop working and stop the cancer treatment while it heals. This means that she will resume cancer treatment next year and she is on a high deductible plan and has a $15,000 deductible that she has to meet before she hits her out of pocket max. She really needs our help now; just like she would do for any one of you. So while you are in the spirit of giving this holiday season, could you please find it in your heart to maybe send a few dollars her way? She really didn’t want to have to do this but I managed to talk her into it. Please friends, no amount is too small and everything is appreciated! We are a family Lobo Nation and one of our own needs our help!! If you can find it your hearts to help my friend in her time of need I know it would mean so much to her and her family. Thank you again and always Go Lobos!
