Crazy’s tumor removal and Chemotherapy
Donation protected
Hello everybody, today we humbly ask for your assistance in raising fund to help with the removal of our Big Boy’s tumor. For all of those who have been luckily enough to meet this gentle giant you know he really is the Goodest Boy. But his vet bills are getting out of hand. The good news we got today is they believe the cancer isn’t going to spread as prolifically as we thought. Now we need to decide the best course of act which includes three options. 1) complete leg removal of his front leg 2) removal of the infected area only and plate inserted in to his leg/ankle 3) target radiation to reduce the size of the tumor and get mobility back in his leg. The three options only get more expensive. We are not ones to ask for help but we need it not for us but for the sake of this snuggle buggle, anything you can spare would go a long way as we have already spent $1,000’s to even figure out all the options available to us. He is only 7 years young so treated he still has a long and healthy life ahead of him.
****Update Crazy’s surgery was today (12/6/22) and the vet called and said he is doing well. We get to pick him up tomorrow and see how is. The surgery alone is $6,000.00 plus the pre surgery visits, post surgery visit and after care costs. Once we get him home we will share some photos of his recovery!
**** procedure is completed he is finally home and resting comfortable but is very salty about the no furniture rule.
****12/28/2022 Merry Christmas and a happy new year! Crazy’s amputation healing is going well. He is so happy he is allowed on the couch and his favorite giant bean bag again. He had a visit to the cancer specialist and they said the tumor did not appear to metastasize…However to be on the safer side because it is osteosarcoma they want to start chemotherapy 4-6 rounds costing $1000.00-$1500.00 per treatment.
