Create a book about Woldgate School history

Pocklington and District Local History Group in conjunction with Woldgate School, are raising money for the publication of a book on the history of the school. Following on from the success of the 60th anniversary of its founding, it was felt by the organisers of the event that a book should be created recording the history of the school and preserving the memories of its staff and pupils.

The organisers and editors of the book will be ex-headmaster John Brown, Jane Henley, Geraldine Macdonald and Andrew Sefton will help with production some are committee members of Pocklington and District Local History Group, which is supporting the project.

Any person donating £10 or more will get their name mentioned in the book as a sponsor.

Any surplus monies will go to the Woldgate School fabric fund.

We are hoping to produce the book in 2022.
