Create a brighter future for AKD School Students!

Hey Everyone,

Myself, Laura, and my friends Antoine, Claire, Dave and Ferdi are all volunteers at the AKD School in Battambang, Cambodia. 

AKD is a non-profit school in Cambodia where underprivileged children come to learn English to better their futures. Students range in age from 5-21 years old, and are some of the brightest children we have ever come across.

During this trip, we have been touched by the radiant smiles and eager eyes of these children, despite the hardships that they face.

The AKD school is run by Kamnat (Bottom left of photo), his wife and their three children. The school is run and continues to grow from kind donations from others - this is why we're launching a GoFundMe campaign to appeal to your generosity to raise funds dedicated to AKD school.

In particular, we're looking to raise funds to help build a shelter over the playground for the children, as the playground is currently too hot for the children to play in during breaktime (with temperatures often exceeding 35 degrees Celsius).

Together, we can ensure that the AKD school can be a place of learning and hope. Your donation, big or small, will be a step towards a brighter future for these children, and will help them in taking a step towards the life that they deserve!
