Create Amazing Dance Projects

Hello, we are a local dance school called Peninsula School of Performing Arts.

This past year, with Covid-19 restrictions, we had to cancel three planned theater productions that involved hundreds of children and adults.  To keep our most serious ballet students active and engaged, we decided to create a ballet video, rehearsed and filmed outdoors.  We chose Kingdom of the Shades.  When these 24 girls met for their first outdoor, distanced rehearsal it was like their world opened up again.  The looks in their eyes were amazing as they were able to be with their friends and dance again.  It took more than 6 months to teach, rehearse, costume, film and edit the video and we are now preparing to premiere "Shades of 2020" on March 13, 2021.

Our goal is to raise $7,000.  We need $2,000 to help pay off costs still pending from creating "Shades of 2020" and plan to use the additional funds as seed money to begin to create the next performance or video project.  Your support will mean so much to these wonderful young dancers and many more who want to participate in the next creative project.  Please check out our website at www.pspadance.com  to see our first video.  Then, we will keep in touch with each of our donors as we reveal our next "Creative Dance Project"
