Join the Guardians- Untold Stories of Conservation

I’m Kendra Carano, a Filmmaker from the USA who has teamed up with a South African Conservation Biologist, Kayla Zoon, to film a conservation focused documentary series.

This docu series aims to educate people all over the world about conservation, its challenges and the incredible people working to protect our wild spaces. We will be working with different groups and organizations showcasing each one per episode. Our goal is to provide people with an authentic understanding of what conservation work is, what is happening on the ground, why it is so important right now and how people can help. We have already filmed two episodes - one focussed on wildlife vets (Wildscapes in Hoedspruit) and the second on Global Conservation Force.

By donating you will be helping pay for wildlife operations such as rhino dehorning, elephant collaring, game capture, snare removal and more. Not only will you be helping save an animals life you will also be helping us create a powerful documentary series.

Here’s more information about us: I went to film school in Los Angeles and graduated with a masters in documentary photography/media. I worked in Hollywood for five years but fell in love with conservation, deciding to dedicate my life to working with conservation groups and helping them with media. Kayla has her masters in Conservation Ecology and has worked in conservation and research for seven years, but now dedicates her time to educating people about wildlife conservation through media.
