Phyllis was diagnosed in November of 2019 with colon cancer. She had the tumor removed, with no treatment needed and has been cancer free. In August just this year, she had some abnormal blood work. After a scan and a visit with her oncologist, she received the devastating news that her colon cancer had returned at stage 4 Metastatic Colon Cancer and has spread into her abdomen. To slow the spread to other parts of her body Phyllis and her oncologist decided it would be best for her to take chemo treatments. As we all know even with insurance, treatments can be very long and very expensive, Her and her husband didn’t have a supplemental plan so even with Medicare there will be bills. Sadly there isn’t always financial aid for cancer treatments. Payment is due at each time of treatment, plus other medications she may need. Plus she still has her household bills and car payment. She would not ever ask for the help but as her family we know it takes a village when something tragic happens. She did not choose cancer, cancer chose her. Phyllis is such a precious gift to us, a blessing to so many, has a sweet spirit and a loving, caring heart! We just want to give back and help out where we can! If you would like to donate you can do so here. I know it will be so greatly appreciated! If you cannot we also understand. If you don’t have the money to give, one thing you still can do, is to pray for her! Pray that her body receives the treatments well and they do what we hope as to slow the spread! God is still good, no matter the circumstance! You can also send her a sweet letter, message or even a phone call to keep her spirits lifted during this time! We want her to live her life the best that she can, for as long as God needs her here with us on earth. Please share this page with others! Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for your love and support!
Psalms 91:
1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” 4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways
14 “Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
