Creating a visual memoir book

Hi, I’m JD, and I’m following my dream to publish books that share my stories, reflections, and insights through creative pages. My soul has been stirring to make a book for some time now. So, in 2023 I will be going all-in taking a year-long bookmaking course. I am raising funds to help cover the costs of this course, the materials, software, and printing costs needed to publish a book at the end of the course.

This course will help me combine writing from my journals with photos, ephemera, and other pieces of my life. It will help me bring to life the story in me that wants to be told. It will help me know myself. And it will help me share this book with those who find themselves in my pages. I hope to create a book of beauty and wisdom as I share my truth and heart. A book of comfort, connection, and companionship. Above all, I hope my book is a lamp in dark places.
