Creating a Legacy for Bisma

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh ‏اَلسَلامُ عَلَيْكُم وَرَحْمَةُ اَللهِ وَبَرَكاتُهُ

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of sister Bisma Khurram. Bisma was the wife to Khurram Iqbal and loving mother to Hamza (12) and Taha (10). Bisma returned to Allah (swt) on Monday January 20th in a tragic accident during a family trip.

For those of you that knew Bisma, you knew how caring and joyful she always was. It was easy to be drawn into a conversation with her and spend countless hours with deep topics and laughter. She was a devoted mother and cherished her sons more than anything else in the world.

During this incredibly difficult time, I’m asking the community to come together to create a legacy for sister Bisma via Sadiqah Jariyah. Sadiqah Jariyah is an ongoing charity that is donated on behalf of someone else. Examples of sadiqah jariyah include building a water well, donating materials to a hospital or clinic, sponsoring an orphan, donating Quran's, and even providing an education to the less fortunate.

Thank you for your generosity, love, and support. Please keep Khurram, Hamza, Taha, and the rest of their family and friends in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate through this unimaginable loss. May Allah swt grant her the highest place in Jannah and accept our duas.

There will also be a paani (water) project through launchgood coming soon to set up Sadiqah Jariyah for Bisma. We will update when we have that link set up for it.
