Creating a story unlike any other

Hi! My name is Chris and I am the writer and director of a short film called Surf n' Turf n' Love! We are a group of SAIT students creating a short film for our final production assignment and are reaching out to our community to raise funds for our production.

Surf n' Turf n' Love is a surrealist film, set in the early 80's, about a woman falling in love with an anthropomorphic lobster (Yes it's weird, film students aren't normal).

Our funds will go towards submitting for film festivals, transportation for our equipment and crew to set, and decorating our set to get it to fit the vision!

We plan on using this film after we leave school on our demo reels in order to get work following our graduation, and we also plan on submitting to local film festivals to get our names out there!

Any donations to this effort are absolutely appreciated and will receive a special thanks in the credits for the film. Donations also don't have to be monetary! We're also accepting donations for 70s and 80s furniture and Knick Knacks. To inquire about donating physical items, please contact us!
