Hey guys! Brody and I are looking for your love and support when it comes to this difficult challenge we are being faced with.. infertility. We were referred to a reproductive endocrinologist in late 2021. After meeting with Dr. Lannon at Boston IVF in December, it was decided that we should attempt IUI as a treatment plan. Dr. Lannon believed this would do the trick. Since December, we have had three failed IUI treatment cycles, numerous tests, numerous ultrasounds and multiple medications. Dr. Lannon has now suggested that we move onto IVF due to the multiple failed IUI cycles. With this new treatment plan comes a costly medical bill for treatment and a costly medication bill. Unfortunately fertility treatments are not covered by insurance in the state of Maine. So far, we have spent about $4,000 out of pocket for our treatments. IVF will cost us about $8,000 just for one treatment cycle. This will cover medications, testing, egg retrieval and embryo transfer. We would love nothing more than to welcome a child into our family. Please help us reach our goal and make our wishes come true.
