Creating beautiful memories for Townes, Jake & Ainsley

With a heavy heart we share the news that, after a long battle, this brave and beautiful boy, Townes, no longer has to fight it off anymore. The illness has spread to his brain and other parts of his body and with this news, doctors have now deemed what once seemed curable to be terminal.

Nothing can prepare you for such news, and our hearts are with Jake, Ainsley, and the wider family during this difficult time. T has fought and pushed beyond what should ever be asked of any two-year-old. There is no need for him to continue being the big, brave boy he's had to be for any longer.

Jake and Ainsley’s wish now, as parents of this brave little boy, is to ensure T is as happy, comfortable, and pain-free as possible while they cherish the remaining time they have together with him.

Speaking with them this week, one thing that has helped them tremendously through this time is the immense love and support from their friends, family, and even strangers—people unknown to them before this battle began. They are forever thankful for this support. It is through this love and kindness that they were able to maintain a brave face and provide such a special life for little T throughout his treatment. This is a true testament to a loving community, and a testament to the most strong and loving parents T could have ever been blessed with during this life.

Jake and Ainsley want to say thank you to every single person who has shown up during this journey. They have reluctantly decided to open up another funding opportunity for anyone who wishes to donate. The initial funding they had received was used over the beginning six months, allowing the family to be completely with Townes during treatment, and Jake and Ainsley have recently returned to work, trying to regain some normality in their lives as it seemed T was in a better place with his battle. With the devastating news, their lives have once again been flipped upside down, and they will need to take time away from work for the foreseeable future. Any donations during this time would be immensely helpful, allowing T, Jake, and Ainsley to make the most of their remaining time together as a family, free from the burden of financial stress.
