Creating Gopher Cages to Protect Native Plants
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Aareev and I am a boyscout in Troop 52 in Palo Alto. I am currently working to raise money for my Eagle Project. We are going to make around 600 gopher cages, which will be used to protect several native plants in local ecosystems from being eaten by gophers and other animals.
If these native plants are eaten, then the ecosystem cannot expand further by attracting native animals. This project will be helpful to the beneficiary (Grassroots Ecology) because it allows them to install gopher cages that protect the native plants as they grow, without herbivorous wildlife interfering in this process.
The money raised will be used to supply materials for the project, and the goal is to raise $275 by early July. A donation would be highly appreciated!
