Creating Nature Reserves on the Isle of Wight
Donation protected
In the summer of 2023 we saved a woodland, in a picturesque area of the Isle of Wight, from development and transformed it into a beautiful Nature Reserve called Pop's Wood, which is due to be open to the public in March 2024. We are asking for your help to raise funds to maintain this land and support running costs such as Insurance, Security and materials for the upkeep. All costs so far for this land have been raised privately.
Additionally we are looking to start creating our second Nature Reserve on the Isle of Wight. The site has been identified and talks are in place to secure the land. We are looking to raise money to cover the costs of labour and materials to transform the site. Land purchase costs will be covered independently.
Our mission is to bring a greater awareness of nature to the younger generations, to encourage a sustainable future to all whilst also saving land from unnecessary development. We strongly believe in our vision for the future and we are confident that we can restore nature and protect wildlife.
When the Nature Reserves are open to the public, we are looking to work with local schools and youth groups to bring a greater understanding about the ecosystem and the importance of our environment to them. All of this at the same time as encouraging wildlife back to the sites.
