Donate for Joy: Building a Safe Space for Roshni

Warm greetings from the heart of Roshni, where hope thrives each day!

We, at Roshni Association, are dedicated to supporting individuals with mental and physical disabilities in Lahore, Pakistan. Since our establishment in 2001 as a non-profit, non-governmental organization, we have been a beacon of light for those often forgotten in society.

Currently, we manage three impactful projects:

Roshni Living Community: This project offers inclusive living and skill development through workshops in organic farming, bakery, textile, wood, and art. Forty-seven friends with special needs live, work, and receive support here.

Green Earth Roshni School: Inspired by Waldorf pedagogy, our school provides inclusive education to over 380 students from marginalized communities.

Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR): Through CBR, we extend therapeutic services to over 150 children with physical and mental disabilities in rural communities.

As our journey continues, the demand for our support grows. To accommodate more individuals, we plan to build a new community house and a larger workshop building. However, to secure these future investments, we must focus on expanding our organic farm (currently 2 acres), which not only meets the food demand of our residents but also provides constant revenue for our operations.

Currently, an adjacent 0.5-acre property is available for sale at 90,000 Euros. By acquiring this additional plot, we aim to increase organic production by 30% and our revenues by 15%. This expansion will enable us to provide even more skill development opportunities to our friends with special needs in a healthier and more inspiring environment.
