Hey family,
my mom started her new year off in a medically induced coma due to pneumonia complications. She was placed on an ecmo machine and ventilator. During her time on those machines she’s coded THREE times and suffered anoxic brain injury and myoclonic jerking which was shown as seizures. She also had a tracheotomy. The doctors told me ,my siblings, and family she wouldn’t have any quality of life and that we needed to “make plans” for her funeral. After about 3 weeks of watching her wake up and be heavily sedated as well as going against doctors recommendations  to pull her life support!  she is currently recovering from an anoxic brain injury, is lucid, and smiling. My mom is ALIVE and getting stronger everyday. In lieu of our mother’s medical expenses we are starting a go fund me because she is uninsured. Her catering business was still getting off the ground so she did NOT have medical insurance! We are needing 24-hour care for her! Please if my mom has ever cooked for you, spread love to you, been supportive to you, and made sacrifices for you NOW is the TIME to pay it forward we are needing your help to ensure our mother has the smoothest recovery At home! Please anything helps. We’ve also set up everything we need for Medicaid, and disability to be approved it’s taking longer than expected! We thank God for my mother’s life we believe God that her life does NOT end here, she has more left to do in the kingdom! She’s been a blessing to countless lives and we’re believing God for millions more!
