Cremation of Britney Blackwell
Greif is the price we pay for love. For if not loved, nothing would be lost and I'm lost without you.
My little sister Britney aka BritBrat was full of life, had a heart of gold, was a wondering but precious beautiful soul. She was smart, funny, charismatic, and if given the opportunity she would talk with you for hours. She was an animal lover, all things music, makeup, modeling, was a horror movie buff, and loved her video games. She was a daughter, sister, and aunty to many nieces and nephews. My son, would spend hours with her playing games, making creative worlds where they would imagine endless possibilities together.
In 24 short years of life she had accomplished so much! She was in multiple music videos, was in a girls fight club movie, appeared on the cover of a tattoo magazine, was on her way back to school to become a cosmetologist for the unliving. She always talked about her dreams to succeed, being a big star one day. She was always our bright shining star!
My family and I are asking for donations for the cremation of an amazing young woman, Britney Blackwell. She wanted to be cremated so that way she was always with us. The money will go directly to the funeral home we as a family have chosen. The donations will cover the ceremony, cremation process and urn cost.
My family and I would be very grateful for any donations. To have known Britney was to love her. She touched so many peoples lives and we are asking to please return the favor. Please help us to give her what she deserves. Help us bring her home. 
Today as I sit here and try to process what has happened I cant help but to think of all the memories before today. She wrote me a poem a few years ago and in one of the lines she said "Dear big sister, you will not die from a broken heart, there is to much love, just look above and you'll see the light in moms eyes." Baby sister you are right but my heart still aches for you.
As little girls I remember laying in bed snuggled up next to you watching our favorite ballet tape. We would talk about how one day we would do that too. Growing up we were always together, you were my best friend and partner in crime. There were times in life when it would get us down but I tried my best to make you smile and laugh, help pick you up and stand next to you tall and strong.
Being your big sister I always wanted to protect you from harms way, I did my very best and tried so hard to keep you safe. Small or big take your pain away. You always looked up to me but I never knew why, I guess you seen something in me that I didn't or couldn't. One day I hope I see what you did when you looked at me.
Sister until we meet again. A light from my life has gone , a voice I loved is still, a place is vacant within my heart which never can be filled. A bouquet of beautiful memories sprayed with a million tears, I wish God would have spared you, if just a few more years. I hold you close within my heart, and there you will remain. To walk with me through out my life until we meet again. So rest in peace my dear sister and thanks for all you've done. I pray God, has given you the crown you truly won. Your vacant place no one can fill. I miss you now and always will.. I love you brit brat <3
When we reach our goal, anything over that the proceeds will go to a local Suicide Prevention center and to bring our family, her other sisters and brother(pictured below) together for her services. To my family and I it will truly mean the world to us to be able to help other family's in need at such a difficult time in their life. Please help share!
