In Memory of Peter Vlahos

On July 16th 2020 my father Peter passed away from pancreatic cancer.

Peter had been steadily unintentionally losing weight since the beginning of this year and growing weaker each month. He insisted he was fine until one day in early June his symptoms got so bad I forced him to go to the hospital. We then found out after a multitude of tests that he had stage 4 pancreatic cancer, and it had already spread to his liver, adrenal glands and lungs. 

The last month and a half of his life he was in and out of the hospital trying to maximize his time here with us. That time has felt like a blur. We lost him so soon after finding out he was sick. It's truly the most devastating thing I've ever experienced. 

Peter was a great father and my best friend. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy lives on through his children, his music and frame shop!
