Cremation for our Queen Sofia Duarte.

Dear all,

It’s with a heavy hearth that I write this message. My name is Alda and I am Sofia's family's friend but it was actually lovely, young Sofia that introduced me to her mum 11 years ago.

Our Sofia was the light in every room or party and no day was the same as another, as Sofia lived life to the fullest.

For everyone that knew Sofia, knows that Sofia loved her family dearly and she had so many friends and so many stories to tell as she grown into the beautiful young lady that she was and always will be for anyone that loves her.

For people that don’t know what happened, our loved Sofia was killed in a fire on January 1st of 2023 in old Kent road while visiting her boyfriend. She was the only one that didn’t get out of the house on time and to our devastation, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Sofia's mother unfortunately found out about Sofia death through a friend that called to say that someone had posted a picture of Sofia with a RIP message followed by a call from the police and when police visited her work place to give her the news she said to the police officer that she knew now but he confirmed it.

No parent, brother, anyone should go through this and we want to be here and do all we can for her at this devastating moment.

We all would like to help Sofia’s mum with the cost of the cremation so Sofia can have the send off she deserves, as the Queen she will always be for us.

Last November Sofia posted the following on her Facebook page:

” When I die, SOMEBODY

make sure I have lashes on. I don’t want to look too dead.”

This is so HEARTBREAKING and hard to swallow...

Please, let's all get together and all be that Somebody.

We will make sure you get the send off you deserve babygirl. You have gone too soon but you will never leave our hearts...

All the donations will go directly to her mum and the family will be forever grateful.

Condolences to all the family and all her friends. We are all mourning together.
