Cremation funds for my father, John Ballentine

Hi, My name is Gina, and I am writing this with a heavy and humble heart. My daddy, John Fredric Ballentine, passed away unexpectedly on March 6th, 2023. My daddy was a very brilliant man and had earned his Masters's degree in Sacred Theology and was approved by the Vatican to teach Catholic Catechism. My father had no life insurance, and as his only daughter, all decisions have fallen on me to make. His body is currently at the Medical Examiner in Richmond, Virginia, and I have 30 days from his death to claim it. I would like to have his body cremated in Richmond and have his ashes sent to me here in Roanoke. As this was a very unexpected death, I am looking for any way I can help offset this cost.

It is not in my nature to ask for any type of help, especially when it comes to finances... but it is in times of sadness and tragedy that people come together the most to help each other through.
