Crenshaw's Surgery

Hi my name is Simone and I am posting about my dog Crenshaw. He is a Shiba Inu pup that recently turned 2 years old on December 30th, 2020. Over the past 2 weeks he has been experiencing breathing issues, lack of appetite, and anxiety. Last week my family and I were informed by our Vet that Crenshaw has fluid, known as Chylothorax, in his chest cavity that is severely restricting his breathing. This diagnosis poses a severe health threat to Crenshaw's life. The Chylothorax fluid has caused Crenshaw to lose his appetite, weight, slight depression and lack of exercise. Our Vet has informed us that he will need to seen by a Internal Specialist and will need to have surgery as soon as possible. The surgery and recovery cost is estimated to be $10,000. Although my family and I are doing everything in our power to ensure Crenshaw receives the proper medical care, we unable to cover all of his medical costs. My pup is full of is the most loving and full of live dog I have ever known and he is not himself as this time. He is a huge part of my family and he has brought so much light and goodness into our life by just simply being in our lives. He is only 2 years old. I know he may be confused about what's going on and I am willing to do everything and anything to help him. He is my family, best friend, and child mixed all into one. I love him beyond words that I can express to you all.

If we are able to receive any help with Crenshaw's surgery/recovery expenses, it would be so greatly appreciated. Receiving any help would be the world to us and Crenshaw. All of the donations would be funded towards his surgery and recovery. We can provide proof of where donations will be funded. He will need surgery as soon as possible.

We are praying everyday that he overcomes this battle and that he will be able to experience life as an adult as well.  Crenshaw deserves to experience life to it's fullest extent and I want to so deeply ensure that  he does. Thank you.
