Country Range Group 30th Anniversary Challenge

The Country Range Group (CRG) has set a £100,000 fundraising target to celebrate its 30th anniversary year.
A number of charitable initiatives are planned for 2022 including various individual and group charitable endeavours and fundraising activities undertaken by the central office team and staff across the Group’s membership.
The CRG central office will raise £30,000 which will be split between industry charity Hospitality Action and causes local to Altham, Lancashire where the central office is based. The three local charities selected are Pendleside Hospice, Milly’s Smiles and North West Blood Bikes.

About Pendleside Hospice
Pendleside Hospice provides care and support to people in the Burnley & Pendle area that have been diagnosed with a life-limiting illness. Care is provided free of charge to anyone that needs it either within our Hospice building at Reedley, out in the community or within a patients own home. Care and support is extended to the patients family and carers.

Milly's Smiles provides a Holdall Bag, known as a Milly Bag for all children who have been newly diagnosed with a cancer related illness, and admitted into hospital. The bag contains lots of essential and luxury items that will help them through the first frightening weeks of their journey.

About North West Blood Bikes
North West Blood Bikes (NWBB) ride motorcycles to collect and deliver urgently needed whole blood, platelets, samples for analysis, medication, patient notes, small medical instruments, donor breast milk, etc., between NHS hospitals without charging the hospitals.
