Cricket Club Imminent Repairs! Let's Save Our Community Pool

Hi! My name is Brittany Alexander, and I'm the 2024 treasurer for our beloved community pool, Cricket Club, located in the heart of Powell, TN. We are in need of help from our community. For almost 60 years Cricket Club has been a summer staple for nearly 200 families each summer. Unfortunately, it's starting to show its age.

Our board has made the decision to create a fundraiser in addition to offering sponsorships this year.

We are in need of immediate repairs and we are lacking the funds needed in order to keep Cricket Club operating and membership costs down.

We have received quotes from several companies and we are looking at immediate costs of $16,500 for this season alone in repairs.

In order to renovate the pool, do necessary repairs, and do a complete makeover we are looking at $250,000 in the next several years.

This is not something that we can continue putting off or patching issues here and there.

This summer we are offering movie nights, looking at getting a vending machine, selling popsicles, and selling spots for sponsorship signs as ways to help with this cost, but it is nowhere near what we are needing.
