Our purpose for fundraising is to:
1) Continue the success of the Annual Black On Black Crime Solutions Panel.
2) Keep our C2B Chess Club & Mentoring Program going for the Fall of 2017.
3) If the jails/prisons can raise billions dollar a year to send our community members to live in their facilities then we can raise money to fund our preventative programs to keep them out.
Since 2009, we’ve served over 5,000 students all over Florida. We provide mentoring, educational, enrichment and chess programs for at-risk youths and young adults in South Florida communities between the ages of 12 to 24 years. At the end of the 10week chess program - all the students get to go to the Kennedy Space Center at no cost to them!
The game of chess has so many benefits: Exercises our brain, increases intellectual capacity, and forces our youth to think. Your support counts!
Spaceship Sponsor - Sponsor A Student for only $100, covers the lunch with an astronaut, T-Shirt, Transportation, and a day at the Space Center.
We started the Black On Black Crime Solutions Panel in 2014. This event has been growing in awareness, community support, and effectiveness by bringing tangible solutions to the table to the problems of the black community. Our track record speaks for itself – we’re committed to bringing this movement to every major urban city in America.
The event was brought to you by the Worldwide Christian Center Church, located in South Florida in partnership with Courage To Believe International, Inc. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit, tax-exempt organization that is geared towards saving 50 at-risk youth a year from the school-to-prison pipeline.
