Crista Sparkman

As many of you know Crista has been having some ongoing health issues the past few years. It started when she had a heart attack while pregnant and required cardiac stent placement. They believe most of the heart attack was due to clotting disorders and diabetes. After her initial heart attack she had lost some of hearts ability to pump effectively. This past week she was admitted to the hospital for confusion. They discovered she had a stroke and wanted to further look at the cause. They took a look at her heart with cardiac cath and found she had multiple occluded arteries. She was transferred to another hospital where they would be more equipped to deal with. There they determined that because her heart is incredibly weak she would not be a surgical candidate for bypass. Doctors are left with only a few options. One, an LVAD a device to help her heart pump. Because of the clotting disorders and high risk operation they do not believe this will be an option for her. Lastly, a heart transplant is also not an option because of her medical history.

Best case scenario they are saying without treatment she has 6 months. (We’re praying that they are wrong).

Here faith hasn’t wavered. She still is praising the Lord even in this time of struggle. She believes this is her plan for her life and trusts that even though we don’t understand why, it’s HIS PLAN. 

Anyone who who knows Crista knows she has a heart of gold. She’d do anything for anyone. She wants to spend her remaining time in this world with her family and her kids. During this time she should be able to live like she’s never lived. She shouldn’t have to be consumed with worry about expenses while she’s not working and planning a funeral (if that’s Gods plan). 

I’m hoping to ease her worries and help to by covering costs and expenses to reduce stress.

I pray for a miracle and that  we can raise money to help her during this time. Prayers are also appreciated.
