Help us honor our father, Cristin Smith

Hello, we'd first like to start off by thanking everyone who has reached out to us to offer condolences and support after our fathers passing. He was a shining star, and his light has been dimmed early. If you haven't heard, he died from a brain bleed. A surgeon attempted to go in and drain the blood from his brain, but it was unsuccessful. He passed away Monday, November 20th, surrounded by his children, and one of his closest friends. We've given ourselves a bit of time, but it is now time to put on our brave faces and plan his service. We are hoping to hold it Tuesday December 5th (his birthday), but have run into an unexpected hurdle. My father has let his life insurance policy lapse, and his savings have been drained. We are going to do everything we can on our end to come up with the funds, and are open to receiving support from our community as well. For those of you asking how you can support, this is how. We just want to send our father off in the way that he deserves.
