https://www.thedenverchannel.com/news/front-range/commerce-city/adams-county-animal-management-searching-for-dogs-linked-to-string-of-attacks Cristina and her family were viciously attacked by her neighbor's dogs on Jan 2nd. This is now the 4th attack involving these dogs and the latest was after numerous calls were made to both her landlord as well as Adams County Animal control. These dogs are extremely aggressive and Adams County Animal Control had the dogs in quarantine only to release the dogs to the owner AGAIN resulting in this latest attack which required Cristina and another family member to be transported by ambulance for medical care for puncture wounds to their legs, groin, and hips. Despite the numerous calls made, Cristina and her family have lived in constant fear with absolutely no empathy or proper response from the appropriate parties involved. The owner of the dogs has now been on the run (with the dogs) and there is fear as to when the dogs will return. Cristina is the primary caregiver of her autistic daughter and as such, has limited income. She has a part-time job that does not provide medical benefits and had to take a week off of work due to her injuries. She is looking to relocate her family and seek the medical care that is needed. Any help that can be offered would be greatly appreciated.
