Loved Mother and Grandmother, Cristine Bumanglag

Aloha, my name is Tiana Nicolas. In September 2023 my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer that had spread to her bones, we were all in disbelief and heartbroken. My mom spent weeks in rehabilitation getting better and preparing to fight. Chemotherapy was scheduled to start in November.

On October 30th, my sister Mariah was called that my mom was rushed to Straub Medical center emergency, because Mariah was off island, she called me, and I rushed to the hospital, arriving at 3am. Unfortunately, the cancer caused a blood clot in her lungs resulting to multiple cardiac arrests, after best efforts from the medical team, my mom passed away at 1:25pm. She was surrounded by her family.

My mom was loved by so many with her charm and humor. Her passing was so sudden and unexpected, my sister and I are deeply broken but want to give my mom the best service she deserves to honor her memory and say our goodbyes. So many have reached out to help our family during this difficult time so I created this gofundme account for anyone wishing to contribute.
