Kass' Transition Fund

Hi. I'm Kass, I'm 22, and I need help to get top surgery.
I'm a non-binary trans man struggling with severe gender dysphoria. My chest is a huge source of discomfort and a danger to my mental health, and there's nothing I can do about it until I get top surgery AKA a double mastectomy. Right now I rely on a binder to make my chest look flatter and more masculine, but this isn't a sustainable solution because it's literally causing my rib cage to collapse inwards. Binding has already left me with chronic pain and some mild deformity, and I can't safely keep it up for much longer.
Getting top surgery would mean starting a whole new life. I will be able to go to the gym, go swimming, stay cool in the summer, wear clothes more normally, use the men's changing rooms, be safer at work, and stay out in public for longer without being outed as trans. Most importantly it will fix a lot of my dysphoria and mental illness, and stop my binder from endangering my health.
The NHS has been really unhelpful with my transition. They failed on multiple occasions to even send off my referral to their gender identity clinics, lied to me about it, and dropped me right at the bottom of their waiting lists (which are currently years long). I have to get my operation with a private surgeon because I won't survive long enough to see an NHS professional (sorry to be morbid but that is sadly the state I'm in).
My top surgery will probably cost around £8000.
I'll also need to cover the costs of travelling to (and staying in) London for my consultation and surgery, and I'll need funds to get medical supplies for my recovery and to help me stay alive while I'm on leave from my job. I also went with GenderCare, a private clinic, to get on testosterone in April of 2020, and I may have to book follow-up appointments (~£150/hour) with my doctors there in order to continue HRT.
I'm currently doing everything I can to save up for the procedure, and while I am lucky enough to no longer be in poverty, £9000 to cover all bases isn't something I could ever afford by myself—hence I'd be really really grateful for any donations or shares to help me reach my goal. To everyone who's supported me so far, I owe you my life and I'm only half joking about that. Thank you so much
(and yes I also go by the name Casper to avoid any confusion!)
