Croatian Centre Norval - Revitalization Project

In 1976 a dream became a reality, a place for Croatians to gather for generations to come... Over the past 47 years we have seen many changes to the bare farmland: The Cathedral like Church, social hall, soccer fields, pool, bocce court, pavilion, and most recently the multi-use sports court just to mention a few.

The vision evolved into a community that has become integral to preserving our culture and identity through the various groups and activities that flourish within our community.

Starting this spring (2023) We are embarking on a revitalization project for the park. This project will include replacing the asphalt from the entrance to the hall, rejuvenating the outdoor pavilion and upgrading the electrical service to the main hall as well as implementing the electrical infrastructure for the future lighting of our soccer fields.

The Croatian Centre has served as a multi-generational pillar for our people's worship, celebrations and sorrow. It is on these grounds that we witness and celebrate baptisms, watch our children play sports, grandparents and grandchildren picnic together, celebrate weddings, showers, birthdays, and other special events. It is here that we create these social bonds that last a lifetime and contribute to our well-being and happiness.

We are asking for financial support from our amazing community and beyond to help us realize our mission to enhance our park for all Croatian Canadians which will be passed on through the generations.
