Crook County Little League Senior Softball

About the Crook County Little League Softball Senior Team:

This team was put together because of unforseen circumstances prior to the District tournament. In that time we had to take a Junior's division team and turn it into a Senior Division team. These young girls accepted the challenge, learning a new set of rules that come with moving up an age bracket, accepting new teamates and working for hours a day prior to our first game to make up for lost practice time.

That hard work paid off and they defeated Redmond twice to take 1st place after loosing to them by 1 in the first game of the tournament. They battled weather, heat and back to back games in 3 days time and no one can describe that feeling of acomplishment of that last out of a championship game.

After becoming Oregon District 5 Champions in the Senior Division they began to prepare for State. The news came through on 6/30/23 that the one team they needed to play to get to Regionals backed out of the State Tournament.

It was then announced that Crook County Softball will be advancing to the Regional tournament in Missoula,Montana 7/20/23-7/26/23 representing the state of Oregon in the Senior Softball Division. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for all 16 of these girls and all the memories made between now and then have no price.

These girls need our communities help, locally and state wide as we prepare to represent Little League Softball across the State of Oregon. We are raising funds for travel, hotel, team meals, cooler snacks and whatever these girls need so that they can focus on the tournament ahead.

On behalf of Crook County Little League Softball, I thank you in advance for the love and support these girls have received and will receive as we approach this tournament. There is nothing I love more than seeing these kids compete and what a way to do that by expericencing it at the Regional level.
