Crooked Loop: a Short Film

Hi everyone!

I'm Emmanuel De La Cruz. I'm a current filmmaker from Fremont, California who's come to study as a student at the New York Film Academy, now working on what I hope to be my biggest film project yet!

Crooked Loop is a thriller/drama taking place within the 70s that introduces a story about an inventory worker, Mylo, who lives a life isolated from the outside world. Consequently, he falls into a realm of uncertainty as he ventures through a treacherous labyrinth, with escape being his only option.

This is a character development story that brings Mylo a new perspective in life and not only shows him that he doesn't have to be alone but how important that is.

I wanted to create a story that shares this message through Mylo's journey that changes him as a person and wrapped around that, a thrilling experience that brings eerie and supernatural Greek mythology to the audience!

With your help, we could gather enough funds that we would use for our production such as props, set dressing, makeup, costumes, transportation, food, and locations! We have the idea and now it's all about bringing it to life.
