Cross Country Relocation Fuel Fund
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family,
After five years in sunny San Diego, our family will be relocating to Asheville, North Carolina where Lynzie has taken a job as a class teacher at a pioneering Waldorf school.
So many of you, after learning of this news, have offered to help us in any way. And after starting to arrange the pieces of a move as enormous as the one we are undertaking, it became clear that the best kind of help we could get would be in the form of gas money. Every little bit counts! It is not cheap to cross the country with both a UHaul and a Prius to fuel. So we are opening ourselves up to donations of any size from you, our loving and supportive community.
Lynzie was not offered any relocation support as part of her contract; it is a young school with a very modest budget. Any money that is raised in excess of our goal will go to cover any fuel or other car related expenses, such as maintenance and repair. Anything beyond that will go directly to support Lynzie's classroom at Azalea Mountain School in the form of supplies, materials, excursions, and development.
We will be leaving San Diego on July 30, and expect to arrive in Asheville around August 5. For those of you counting, that is almost 2,400 hundred miles! That is a lot of gas, even for a hybird, let alone a moving van. We are grateful for any support offered toward this endeavor.
Thank you so much, dear ones. We love you all.
