Cross Fostering the Fancy Rat

After success in clearing our breeding stock through cross fostering with pathogen free albinos, we ask for your help to keep this project going. Combined, we have well over $1,500 invested in this project. We just ask for a little help for the continued testing that will be needed, for food, and for bedding. We will be able to start offsetting our costs with adoptions, but help from others -- like you -- will help the financial burden this successful project has become.

 

Typically, costs are:

 

1. Bedding - $50/month

2. Food - $100/month

3. Testing - $225/litter through their 12 week growout period.

 

We will be sustaining and updating rattesting.org also as a means to offer our information freely to other breeders to help achieve a goal of nearly pathogen free and healthier Fancy Rats!
