Cross Roads Tragedy Family Support
Donation protected
It is with a heavy heart that I initiate this page of support.
My deepest condolences to the family and friends mourning this unfathomable tragedy.
On Saturday 25th of April 2020, a horrific motor accident claimed the lives of two innocent women, Chief Superintendent Joanne Shanahan, 55, and Tania McNeill, 53.
The haunting scenes took place directly in front of my home. As a witness, the feelings of helplessness and despair are overwhelming. My connection to this accident has initiated an overwhelming sense of urgency to lend support to the families suffering.
In honour of the two women who lost their lives, I have set up this page in an attempt to offer financial support for the families that they sadly and suddenly left behind.
The following page has been created to assist the Shanahan family via South Australia Police Legacy and I deeply encourage you to please visit and contribute if you can.
Tania McNeill leaves behind her husband Cary and 14 year old son Bayley. A family well known in the community for their ongoing volunteering and fundraising efforts for others. Close friend of Tania, Megan McKay, describes the McNeill family as "the kind of people that would do anything to help family, friends and the wider community. And now they need our help."
I respectfully ask of anyone in a position financially able, to please consider donating any amount big or small.
The difference this could make to the families at this crucial time of need, not only financially, but emotionally too, as we as a community show they have our support.
My thoughts and prayers are with the families, friends and police force during this devastating time.
I thank you in advance for your contribution and support.
