Crossley Family Fire Benefit
Donation protected
In the early morning hours of December 8th, shortly after midnight, my brother in law started smelling smoke while in the living room of his & my sister's home. He looked around and realized an upstairs bedroom had caught fire. Thankfully, while he was taking their oldest son outside, two strangers who were driving by ran into the house and got the younger two children out safely. My sister, Caron, was just finishing her shift at work. By the grace of God, everyone was able to get out safely. The fire was contained in the upstairs of their house, but due to the flames, many of the floors also fell through. Everything downstairs that wasn't damaged by the fire was ruined by smoke and water. This would come as a blow to any family, but happening two weeks before Christmas is simply heartbreaking. All of their three children's Christmas gifts were in an upstairs bedroom and now are only a pile of ashes. The family is asking for clothing donations or monetary assistance to replace the children's clothing and help replace the Christmas gifts they lost. Chris & Caron are two of the most loving & giving people I have ever been blessed to know. They have always given so much to help others at their times of need. It's my hope that, as a community, we are able to give a little back to them during this devastation when they need it most. Their oldest son, Danuel, is 10 years old. He wears a size 7 in clothing & 9 in shoes. He loves toy mirrors and all kinds of balls. Emmah, 5 years old, wears a size medium (7/8) and an 11 in shoes. She worships unicorns and loves all things girly! Their youngest, Noah, wears a 3T in clothing and 7 in shoes. He loves tractors and bath toys. We will be accepting monetary donations through this GoFundMe page as well as clothing, toy, or other donations. Please email me at [email redacted] for donation items that need to be picked up. Please send prayers up for this wonderful family and share this if you are able to.
