Croton Harmon Football 2016
Donation protected
Croton Harmon has historically sustained a strong high school football program, and under the passionate leadership of Coach Joe Streany (an alumni and a teacher in the disctict) the players, parents and community can help keep this tradition going strong in 2016 and beyond.
The Croton Gridiron Club encourages the Croton Football program by providing support for the team both on and off the field—with team dinners the night before each game; healthy, energy packed game-day snacks; and supplemental equipment that is not always covered by the school budget.
This year, the Gridiron Club is asking your help to raise $5,000 to support the football program, most specifically to continue the bonding tradition of the pre-game dinners, and to fund the purchase of an endzone camera. The endzone camera will provide a valuable tool for the coaches to identify areas of improvement during games—and teach the players a valuable life lesson about accepting and learning from this type of constructive criticism.
Watching the players word hard, and listening to the coaches encourage them, it's easy to see the enormous benefit the players receive from being part of the team environment Coach Streany and his coaches are creating with this program. It's an experience that will last them a lifetime.
The team members, the coaches, the families and other members of the Gridiron Club are grateful for any support you can give -- any donation will help!
