Crouton & Co. Hay!

Crouton and all the sanctuary animals go through about 10-15 bales of hay every day 365. That is a lot of hay! We work with local farmers to source the most nutritious hay that is cut and cured properly before baling. We are so thankful to all of you for helping us each week to bring in loads of hay. In late summer and early fall we begin buying wagon loads to fill our loft for the winter.



More information about SquirrelWood Equine Sanctuary Inc.: Squirrelwood provides sanctuary to 35 horses and an assortment of other animals. We have a Veterans Equine Assisted Therapy program that runs year round. We provide services to veterans and their families free of charge.
