Crowdfunding a new weather station for the Ben More Webcam

Update: Thanks to a generous anonymous donation of £200, we have reached our goal. This together with much appreciated donations from others mean the weather station can be bought, tested and installed. I anticipate this occurring before the end of March at the latest, but hopefully sooner weather and time permitting.

The Fundraiser

The old weather station (a £60 device from Maplin electronics!) Stopped working about a year ago after 12 years of solid service. This is an attempt to crowd-fund a replacement for it.

Plan is a new Ecowitt weather station, likely this one: https://amzn.to/3ZZp2n4 which will expose weather data over the internet for the Ben More Webcam site to retrieve.
