CROYDON PARROTS Youth Baseball & Softball Field
Hi everyone, the Croydon Parrots, the youth programme of the Croydon Pirates, are fundraising to purchase a backstop and baseline fencing for our youth baseball & softball field. The field is in its final stage of construction, so we're now planning and fundraising for the next phase of the project.
Generally, we are proud to be a self-funding club. However, fencing is surprisingly costly and your support for this project is hugely appreciated. As anyone who has played a team sport knows, there are so many benefits, including improving community, personal fitness, communication and cooperation, and fostering respect for others as a value and a practice.
Our goal is to provide a fun, friendly and competitive baseball and softball experience for players from the Croydon, Sutton and greater south London community. Having an appealing facility will further spur interest and support for baseball and softball, ensuring the sports' sustainability in our area.
If you own a business, or work for a business that would like to donate, we can include that business as a sponsor on our website, social media channels and offer the option to advertise with a banner at our ground on game days - do let us know if that's something of interest. Thank you!
