Cruelty Investigator Toney Wade

Got some news yesterday that I really didn't expect and it is going to cause some changes in how I respond to cases.
Yesterday evening I got the results from the biopsy taken over a week ago. I was diagnosed with Nodular Melanoma and will be scheduling surgery next week. Due to the fact that I do not have health insurance, I will no longer be able to pay for vetting and cost associated with cruelty cases. Sadly our fundraiser didn't come close to where we anticipated it would and donations are at an all time low. We get it, COVID has caused us all to cut back and the economy is suffering. Like everything else, we too will have to cut back. I will continue to investigate cruelty and do my best to get animals out of those situations, I will just have to rely on shelters to remove and vet them. Hopefully I can get this over very quickly and get things back to normal, right now I just won't be able to cover additional expenses out of pocket so that I can get the treatment I need.
I will keep everyone up to date on my situation and I thank all of you for always being here and helping us.
