Cry for help after losing everything

Hi my name is Bee, I’m a single Mum with a teenage daughter.

After an awful year and being forced out of our home I had to temporarily relocate many of our belongings. My Classic/Vintage Bedford Motorhome to an off-road drive and all my furniture into a storage lock-up.

Today I found out that my van has been taken off the drive it was stored on and destroyed as the housing association thought it had been abandoned and because I was behind on a few payments, the storage company I was using sold the contents of my lock-up for £21!!!!

The storage company had increased the rent from £18 to £50 a week making it difficult to stay on top of. Please do not use Pink Storage.

Despite my explaining to them about my mental health at the time and the situation I was in with the expenses of the House move and recent bereavement, they ignored my request for help.

The van cost £4,500 and was full of our belongings because of the move and the lock-up was full of a large amount of vintage furniture, rugs, toys, clothes, bikes, electronics, fitness equipment etc….All in all about £10-15,000 worth of our stuff - just gone.

I’m in desperate need to recoup my losses because everything I had was invested in all of my stuff.

I hate having to ask for help but I don't know what else to do right now, my savings were obliterated due to move/storage and not being able to work because of my health. I need to ensure we are ok moving forward.......
