Crystal Alvarado's Cancer Treatment fundraiser

My journey began on August 1st I was officially diagnosed with Her2 metastatic breast Cancer on Sep 10th 2019. Because this Cancer is fast growing my Doctor started me on chemo right away to try to control the cancer now in the Lymph nodes. My Cancer is at a 2b-3 stage and will require at least 1 full year of aggesive treatment, mastectomy and reconstructive surgery if my body is healthy enough to accept. My treatment will continue another 4 years to hope for a good outcome. I recently took over Sheila's Salon on August 31...full if excitment but not knowing what else life had in store for me. Cancer has affected my life in so many ways( family, friends, clients , work, health, but I try my best to stay positive and continued with daily routines as much as possible. Believe me I have horrible days.. and good days! With the support of my loved ones, I will get through it. Being self employed definitely has it advantages for family, but when it comes to being ill....it can be the hardest thing to keep running. Shop necessities, bills and not working as much takes a toll. I thank all of my Family and friends who have helped me and my family though this difficult journey.
